1. Create a New 800x600 image with a White Background. Use the Text Tool to create some floating text using these settings.

Settings used:

• Font Name = Your choice — I used Script MT Bold
• Size = 150
• Width = 0
• Create as = Floating
• Antialias = Checked
• Stroke = Transparent (Null)
• Fill = Gradient | Black-white

For the Black-white, use these settings.

Settings used:

• Angle = 0
• Repeats = 0
• Invert = Unchecked
• Style = Linear

Press Ctrl+Shift+P to Promote Selection to Layer.

2. Press Ctrl+H to feather the selection by 2. Go to Effects | Artistic Effects | Chrome... Use these settings.

Settings used:

• Flaws = 1
• Brightness = 40
• Use original color = Unchecked
• Color = White

3. With the selection still active, make the Background layer active, then create a New layer. Next, go to Selection | Modify | Expand... expand by 1. Press F to activate the Flood Fill Tool, then fill the selection with Black.

Press Ctrl+D to Select None.

4. Make the topmost layer active, then duplicate the layer. Go to Effects | Texture Effects | Sculpture... use the Icy preset. If you do not have the Icy preset, use these settings.

Settings used:

• Pattern = Line art lavender
• Size = 100
• Smootheness = 15
• Depth = 15
• Ambience = -25
• Shininess = 54
• Color = #c0ffff
• Angle = 135
• Intensity = 50
• Elevation = 35

Apply the Chrome filter again. (Same settings as step 2).

Now go to Effects | Artistic Effects | Colored Foil... Use these settings:

Settings used:

• Blur = 6
• Detail = 25
• Color = Black
• Angle = 0

5. Set the topmost layer blend mode to Screen. Hide the Background layer, then merge the visible layers. Go to Effects | 3D Effects | Inner Bevel... use the Gel-like preset. If you do not have the Gel-like preset, use these settings.

Settings used:

• Bevel = 12
• Width = 5
• Smoothness = 40
• Depth = 37
• Ambience = -72
• Shininess = 7
• Color = #7ed7c5
• Angle = 198
• Intensity = 86
• Elevation = 88

Press Shift+B and set the Brightness to 30 and the Contrast to 20.

6. Create a New Layer Group. Make the Text layer active. Go to Layers | New Adjustment Layer | Color Balance... use these settings.

Settings used:

• Shadow = -52, -87, -37
• Midtone = -57, 35, -14
• Highlight = 74, -14, 56
• Preserve luminance = Checked

To add sparkles, create a New layer above the Group layer. Draw White X's with the Pen Tool, then Gaussian Blur by 1. Set the layer blend mode to Dodge and lower the Opacity.

That's it! Now your sittin' on Chrome with graphics born to roll.
