Halftone Dots
1. Create a New 300x300 image with a White Background. Create a New layer. Press F to activate the Flood Fill Tool, then fill with a color of your choice. I chose blue.
2. Press Shift+Y to create a Mask. Flood Fill the Mask with the following Gradient.
Settings used:
- Gradient = Black-white
- Angel = 0
- Repeats = 0
- Invert = Checked
- Style = Sunburst
- Center Point = 50 for both Horizontal and Vertical
3. Go to Effects | Artistic Effects | Halftone... Use these settings.
- Halftone pattern = Round
- Size = 8
- Screen angles = 55
- Ink = Black
- Background = White
That's it! To change the color of the dots, Flood Fill the colored layer. To change the Background, Flood Fill the Background layer.
Now you can create retro Halftone Dots.
