Sticker
1. Create a New 300x300 image with a White Background. Set the Background color to a color of your choice. I chose green. Set the Forground color to the following Gradient.
Settings used:
- Gradient = Black-white
- Angel = 0
- Repeats = 21
- Invert = Unchecked
- Style = Radial
- Center Point = 50 for both Horizontal and Vertical
Press H to activate the Sysmetric Shape Tool. Enter these settings in the Tool Options palette.
Settings used:
- Mode = Draw Stellated
- Create On Vector = Checked
- Number of sides = 20
- Radius = 85
- Width = 2
- Anti-alias = Checked
Draw the shape on the canvas. Center the Object by going to Objects | Align | Center in Canvas.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+B to create a selection From Vector Object. Make the Background layer active, then create a New layer. Go to Selections | Modify | Expand... and expand by 1. Press F to activate the Flood Fill Tool, then fill the selection with Black.
3. Make the topmost layer active. Duplicate the current layer. In the Layer palette, press the plus sign to expand the topmost layer, then double-click the New Symetric Shape to edit the Vectory Property. Uncheck Stroke, then change the Fill to the following Gradient:
- Gradient = Fading white
- Angel = 0
- Repeats = 0
- Invert = Unchecked
- Style = Linear
Press OK. Next, press Shift+S to Resize. Under Pixel Dimensions, use Percent. Set Width and Height to 95. Make sure Resample is set to "Smart Size" and "Resize all layers" is Unchecked. Lastly, feel free to add text.
That's it! Now you can create a trendy Sticker.
